Billing Analyst
The Billing Analyst is responsible for managing and executing timely, accurate billing in accordance with company policies and customer contracts. This role requires a strong operational focus, attention to detail, and comfort navigating complex systems and billing models—including subscription-based, transactional, time & materials (T&M), and tiered revenue
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and process invoices to ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly invoices across multiple billing models.
- Review and analyze customer accounts to verify transactions are billed accurately and timely
- Process contract-driven changes, such as adjustments, credits, rebills, and cancellations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support the onboarding and billing of new customer agreements.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization within the billing process.
- Document billing processes, SOPs, and changes to maintain accurate operational guides.
- Support financial reporting, monthly close, internal audits, and ad hoc data analysis as required.
- Support special billing projects and assist in responding to internal and external billing inquiries via the shared inbox.
What You'll Bring:
- 3–5 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, revenue operations, or a related operational finance role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume workloads with speed and accuracy.
- Proficiency with enterprise billing or ERP systems; experience with BillingPlatform and/or Intacct strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, with a track record of identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Clear, professional communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
- Process-oriented mindset and ability to document workflows effectively.
