Posted 6 hours ago

"As entrepreneurs and artists, we have the responsibility to build ethical havens of employment, but it is also our moral duty to use our power and influence to showcase injustice and bring change through our businesses, platforms and our voices to improve humanity."

Daizy Gedeon is a multi-award-winning filmmaker, journalist, entrepreneur and human rights activist. She began her journalism career with international media organisations including News Corp, The Times Group and Channel 4 News in London, covering historic events including the 1994 Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty, the Arab Summit and Lebanon's Civil War.

Daizy is the founder and CEO of GDR Media Group and Dream Creations International, and the director of ENOUGH! Lebanon's Darkest Hour — winner of over 30 international awards including the Movie That Matters Award at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival.

Since relocating to Lebanon in 2022, Daizy has built an independent media platform producing English-language content on Lebanon, Palestine and the region — reaching a rapidly growing global audience. Her humanitarian contributions have earned her recognition from the British Government, the Global Trade Chamber and Industry Era Magazine, among others.
