Introduction

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing our company's data with accuracy and efficiency. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that our data is up-to-date and supports our operational and strategic objectives.

 

Job Responsibilities

The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for the following:

  • Accurately inputting and updating information into company databases and systems.
  • Verifying data by comparing it to source documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Reviewing and correcting data entry errors to maintain data integrity.
  • Organizing and maintaining digital and physical files to facilitate easy retrieval of information.
  • Collaborating with team members to resolve data discrepancies and improve data quality.
  • Generating reports and extracting data for analysis as needed by the management team.
  • Adhering to data entry protocols and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Assisting with additional administrative tasks as required.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a data entry specialist or similar position.
  • Proficient typing skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Familiarity with office equipment and basic technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new software and tools as required.
