The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Ruby on Rails developer for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products and growth features.
What we are looking for:
- +5 years experience with Ruby on Rails.
- Experience working with the libraries like Resque and RSpec.
- Ability to write clean Ruby code.
- Proficiency with code versioning tools including Git, Github, SVN, and Mercurial.
- Experience with Angular or React.js.
- Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM.
- Good understanding of frontend technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
- Knowledge of server-side templating languages including Slim and Liquid.
- Familiarity with testing tools.
Nice-to-have:
- Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours).
- Knowledge of TypeScript.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new web applications.
- Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications.
- Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code.
- Integrating data storage solutions.
- Creating backend components.
- Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs.
- Integrating user-facing elements designed by the frontend team.
- Connecting applications with additional web servers.
- Maintaining the APIs.
