Job Overview:

As the NPD Programme Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of new product development within the CPG sector. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—marketing, R&D, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance—to bring innovative ideas to life. Your primary goal will be to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with the company’s strategic vision and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee and manage NPD projects from concept through commercialization, ensuring all milestones are met. Create detailed project timelines and track progress, budgets, and resources.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including R&D, marketing, design, sourcing, and operations, to ensure alignment across all phases of product development.

  • Product Lifecycle Management: Coordinate and manage the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to post-launch analysis, ensuring that the product meets both consumer and business objectives.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are updated regularly on project status, risks, and issues.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and roadblocks to the project timeline or quality, and implement mitigation plans to keep the project on track.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure products are developed to meet industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance processes.

    • Market Analysis: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to gather insights on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape to ensure product relevance.

    • Budget and Resource Management: Control project budgets and ensure efficient resource allocation across teams to avoid delays and cost overruns.

    • Innovation Focus: Continuously look for new ways to innovate and improve the product development process, keeping the company competitive in the market.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management within the CPG industry, with a focus on New Product Development.
