Swans is an investor-funded consulting startup that transforms how US law firms operate through AI and automation technology. We're a rapidly scaling company, currently with 6 team members growing to 30+ over the next 18 months, working fully remote across Europe while serving the US legal market.
We act as external technology advisors and implementers for the fastest-growing US Personal Injury law firms. Our consultants work directly with law firm owners and C-level executives, implementing cutting-edge AI tools, building automation workflows, and designing systems that modernize legal operations. Unlike traditional consultants who just make recommendations, we provide hands-on, end-to-end implementation, taking complete ownership of technical deliverables and working as external "CTOs" for our client firms.
We're addressing a critical societal problem where 92% of low-income households receive inadequate or no legal help for civil legal problems. Our mission is to make legal justice universal and not just a privilege for the wealthy. We are reforming the negative stigma around lawyers through AI and automation, essentially brute forcing the legal industry 10 years forward through technology. We help law firms leverage AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini, while building powerful automations using platforms like Zapier, Make, and implementing various CRM systems and Case Management softwares such as Lawmatics and Clio.

You'll work directly with law firm owners as their trusted technology advisor, designing and implementing AI-powered systems that transform how they operate. Within your first month, you'll be leading client meetings, building automation workflows, and deploying cutting-edge AI tools that most professionals won't touch for years. Every system you build directly impacts real families seeking justice while positioning you as an expert in the fastest-growing field in business.

Junior Level: Configure CRM pipelines in Lawmatics and case management workflows in Clio, build data processing workflows and interactive analytics dashboards, design and deploy client intake automations in Make, work with the latest AI tools and help our clients implement it in their practices, shadow senior consultants on client calls to learn how to translate technical solutions into business outcomes (80% system building, and 20% consulting).
Senior Level: Lead client consultations with law firm owners presenting technology strategies, architect complex multi-platform integrations, delegate system configuration tasks to juniors, and mentor team members on advanced workflow optimization whilst executing sophisticated technical implementations (40% team leadership, 40% consulting, and 20% system building).
Both levels: Hands-on system building daily, with juniors mastering fundamentals whilst learning client consultation, and seniors leading strategic discussions whilst executing high-level technical solutions.
Non-Negotiables:
Client-ready communication skills - You'll present to law firm owners and senior executives from week one
Builder mentality - You genuinely enjoy the process of designing, testing, and perfecting systems
Proven AI proficiency - Submit examples of how you've used ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to solve real problems
Native English fluency - you'll advise successful business owners from day one
Portfolio preferred - showcase projects that demonstrate your problem-solving approach
Ideal Background:
Experience with CRMs (i.e. HubSpot, Salesforce, Lawmatics, Clio)
Experience with automation tools (i.e. Zapier, Make)
Experience with project management platforms (i.e. Monday.com, Asana)
Experience presenting to stakeholders and managing client relationships
Technical consulting experience (Big 4, boutique firms, or freelance)
Track record of learning complex tools quickly and applying them to business problems

The legal industry is broken - outdated, overpriced, and structurally rigged against innovation and access. Today, 92% of low-income households can’t afford legal help, and meaningful reform is blocked by laws that prohibit non-lawyers from owning or operating law firms. This shuts out entrepreneurs and business leaders who drive real change. At the same time, firms are confined by state-level regulations that make it hard to scale across jurisdictions, limiting competition and protecting inefficiency. While other industries have embraced technology, law firms are still stuck in the past - reliant on paper, billable hours, and outdated systems.
Our mission is to change that. By equipping law firms with cutting-edge AI and world-class operations, we aim to push the industry 10 years forward - delivering faster, better, and more affordable legal services at scale.
To put things into perspective: Since there are only a few law firms that dominate each state, if we push just one major PI firm to dominate in each state, we can raise the bar of competition and brute force massive change and unlock a legal system that works for everyone, not just the wealthy.
Location: Fully Remote (available US morning hours - 1pm - 9pm CET.)
Compensation:
Junior Level: $26,100 - $48,540 / year
Senior Level: $62,460 - $90,360 / year
