⭐ This role is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the Americas 

 

What you’ll be working on as our US Account Executive

We’re looking for a U.S.-based Account Executive to win new customers, own the full sales cycle, and help expand Filestage’s footprint in the North American market.

In your first year at Filestage, you will:

  • Own and close qualified inbound and outbound opportunities across all acquisition channels and segments (demo requests, trial signups, outbound activities, small businesses to enterprises).

  • Hold structured discovery and demo meetings using the MEDDPICC sales framework.

  • Hit a 25% close rate from qualified inbound demos and 20% from outbound demos.

  • Build your own pipeline through outbound efforts (daily cold calling, referrals, cross-sell plays).

  • Lead prospects through the full sales process, including IT audits, legal, and security reviews.

  • Negotiate skillfully and position Filestage based on value, ROI, and business impact.

  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success to drive long-term success and identify new business opportunities.

  • As you grow in the role, mentor junior team members and share what’s working across the team.

What you’ll bring to the role

You’re a driven AE with a strong track record in B2B SaaS. You thrive in fast-moving environments and love winning as a team.

Here are some of the things we’d like to see from you:

  • 3+ years of AE experience in B2B SaaS, ideally in a martech, creative collaboration, or productivity tool.

  • You understand selling to US companies, you know the business behaviour, and the nuances in communication that help you achieve your conversion rates.

  • Top 10% performer in previous roles with consistent quota attainment across multiple quarters.

    • Feel free to provide references that can confirm your achievements, and will insist that we would be insane not to hire you!

  • Proven expertise in outbound pipeline generation and cold calling – you believe pipeline is earned, not given.

  • Experience running full-cycle sales using MEDDPICC, from first call to close.

  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to navigate legal, IT, and procurement processes.

  • A modern sales mindset: You focus on customer outcomes and value-based selling

  • Outstanding communication skills and confidence as a presenter.

  • Comfort working remotely and independently – you’ve done it before and consistently hit your KPIs.

  • Fluent English is a must; Spanish or French is a plus.

  • You are an AI Enthusiast and believe in smart technologies that help you work as efficiently as possible
