The HR vendor landscape is extremely complex, with tens of thousands of vendors in many different niches (payroll, HRIS, ATS, Performance Management, etc). The risk of buying the wrong software is very high - it results in lost time, money, and sometimes can damage the careers of people who made that decision.
 
Each day, we get to help businesses make the right software decisions with confidence. This takes a lot of stress and headaches away from our users, and also means they can reap the rewards of having the best systems.
 
We are a remote-only, international team that is focused on results, not facetime and meetings. While we have a high bar for our colleagues, each is empowered to do their job and afforded the flexibility and autonomy that high performers deserve.

About the job

We started SSR in 2018 to help organizations find and buy the right HR and recruiting tools through our in-depth reviews and buyer guides. We hold our own against huge sites like Capterra, NerdWallet, and TrustRadius, while carving out a large part of a growing niche.

We are looking for a creative, data-driven Demand Gen Manager with strong paid media chops to help us scale the number of businesses we are able to help each month by generating leads and revenue.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who knows how to run growth campaigns and wants to make an outsized impact at a fast-growing company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and own demand campaigns targeting the North America market across various marketing channels like Paid Search, LinkedIn, Meta, Newsletters, etc.
  • Develop and own outbound email campaigns leveraging intent data sources.
  • Create and manage demand gen budgets and forecasts across channels.
  • Marketing automation in HubSpot Enterprise to ensure campaigns are directed to the proper workflows and sequences.
  • Analyze lead funnel data, tracking metrics like MQL, SQL, Cost/MQL, etc, and provide insights to improve conversion rates and lead quality.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales teams to align efforts to drive revenue.
  • Leverage data and analytics to measure and improve the performance of demand gen campaigns.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills to identify trends and generate actionable marketing performance reports.
  • Work closely with the Inbound SDR for lead follow-up.
  • Identify and test new marketing channels to drive business growth.

 

Qualifications:

You’ll have a direct impact on scaling our mission through creative campaigns, optimization strategies, and collaborative efforts with the broader team. The ideal candidate has:

  • 4+ years’ experience working in a demand generation or growth role focused on driving results through paid media.
  • Proven B2B SaaS experience targeting the U.S. market.
  • Ability to creatively and empathetically build landing pages, campaigns, and other assets.
  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing for landing pages, ads, and other marketing assets.
  • Data-driven with a native fluency in conversion and ROAS math.
  • Clear communication skills are necessary in a remote-only, asynchronous environment.
  • Experience with various ad platforms, both SEM and paid social
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: driven to experiment, test new ideas, and take full ownership of projects
  • Experience with CRMs, preferably HubSpot

 

Work Timing:

We are asynchronous and have flexible working hours. But this role requires some overlap in the Eastern first half.
